New Home Photos
Here are some photos taken while performing inspections in brand "New Homes" around the
Greater Houston Area.

The yellow wire noted by the right arrow, this wire is supposed to be installed in a weathertite
conduit like the one noted by the left arrow.

Poor workmanship on joist system for deck.

Poor
wokmanship on the exterior doors. Unfortunately not one exterior door units in the entire dwelling was installed properly.

This is an apron flashing installed on the rear of another new home. It's fastened pretty well, but
not one nail is sealed.

This masonry chimney is
in contact with the framing (above left). There needs to be two inches of clearance between the chimney and any combustables.

Damaged
roof shingles on a new home.

after page on this or any web site. The point is that if you believe that New Home Construction can go without being inspected,
start looking at these photos again from the top!
